My dads’ cousin was a Leonard John Hedley Jones, son of Police Sergeant Lenard Jones. Hedley had a long gone market Garden at Fernleigh, Cawdor Hill, Greytree. He married a school teacher called Mary and had two daughters one was called Susan Amanda Jones not sure about the other ones name. Hedley died in 1969 aged 50 & his wife sold up and moved to Wales. We think she re-married but are not sure about that. His Mum and Dad Leonard & Mary moved to Birdsall Villa a terraced house on the first left hand turn after the railway crossing on the way over to Greytree.
