Tayntons


I am interested in the Taynton family that lived in Ross in the 1800s. Nathanial Taynton was a tailor in Ross in the mid 1800s and later was secretary to the gas company. Some of his children went to Canada and others remained in Ross. I saw a photograph of a greengrocer's shop in Ross in about 1905 named Taynton's and wondered if anyone knew if this is the same family.
